ACT ONE

ANALYSIS-

Quote:

Romeo scene 1, act 1

"Here's much to do with hate, but more to do with love."

Interpretation:

To me this quote means that the montagues and the capulets fight because they hate each other, but they love to fight. Romeo says this as he's walking with Benvolio. The main reason Romeo says this is to change the subject. They were talking about Romeo's love life, and he didn't like talking about that.
I think a lot of people act like this when it comes to talking about that kind of things. I don't know if people get embarrassed about talking about that or what, but i know of a lot of people who act that way.

ACT TWO

Advice Letter:

Dear Romeo,

Thank you for writing to me and asking for my opinion. I get a lot of letters that say people rushed into love too fast, but not as fast as you and Juliet did! You didn’t even know the girl for 2 full days. I think that’s a little too fast.I think you two should hold off for marriage for a while. You might be in love with her looks, but not who she really is. There’s a lot more to someone than just her looks (I mean looks are a lot of it, but definitely not all of it).
If you two get married now, you might not be together for as long as you think, because as time goes on you might realize she’s not the one for you. So, if you wait a little while you might get to know her a little better and then you can make the decision of whether to proceed with marriage or not. I also think that you’re a little too young to be making that big of a choice. Marriage is a serious thing, so take a little bit of time to think things over.
If you decide not to listen to me things may not go over so well. As you obviously know, the Capulets and the Montagues don’t really like each other too well, that’s the reason it might not go over so well. You don’t have to, but I suggest that you take my advice into consideration. Hope everything goes well.

Quote:

"What's in a name? That which we call a rose
By any other word would smell as sweet."

To me this quote means that just because of the name that romeo holds, means that he has to be an enemy to the capulets. If he was a Capulet, the capulets would like him, but then the Montagues wouldn't like him. So either way its a lose, lose situation.

ACT 3

NEWSLETTER

Quote: Romeo, Act 3 Scene 3

"Heaven is here, Where Juliet lives"
Interpretation:
To me this quote means that Juliet is everything to Romeo. He wants to be everywhere that she is, and do whatever she does. Everyone comes to her when their lost or don't know what to do. Romeo does not want to leave Juliet, even no he has to. He'll see her soon though.

ACT 4
QUOTE:
" Romeo, Romeo, Romeo, I drink to thee."

To me this quote is saying that the only reason she drinks the potion is for Romeo. If Romeo wasn't her true over, she wouldn't
drink it. She really wants to be with Romeo, though.

Parents vs. Teenagers Essay

I don’t have that many rules at my house, but I do have a few. When I break those rules or don’t do something completely there are a some minor consequences and a few “a little above minor consequences.

First, when I don’t get very good grades there are some consequences. For example it I don’t get very good grades then my mom threatens to take my phone and Ipod away. That would be horrible for me. I hate to say this but I think that rule is a fair rule. I mean, I know my mom wants what’s best for me, and that includes getting good grades.

Another rule (or responsibility) is to take down the garbage every Wednesday night. I have been doing that for a few years now, so I don’t really mind that one. My parents do a lot for me and that’s the least I can do to repay them. There’s really no consequence for breaking that rule, they just remind me to do it, that’s all. Not a big deal.

Also, I help my step dad with things around the house, that’s really not a rule, because I enjoy doing it. We always have a good time with each other.
So, as you can see I really don’t have that many rules and responsibilities. My parents do a lot for me, so even if they give me things to do, I do them without complaining.. usually.

SCENE 5

QUOTE:

...For never was a story of more woe Than this of Juliet and her Romeo.

to me this quote means that Romeo and Juliet loved each other very much, but couldn't be with each other due to the family feud. That is what made them sad. That is why it turned out to be a tragedy, because they loved each other so much that they killed each themselves for each other

NEW ENDING:

When Romeo first heard about Juliet faking her death, he got very anxious because he knew this was his chance to get her back. So he packed a bag of only the things he absolutely needed. Then the next morning he stole a horse from his neighbor to ride to go see Juliet. The neighbor was very hot headed; he started to run after Romeo because he just stole his favorite horse, Rambo. So, after running about a mile and a half he gave up chasing Romeo.

So, after a very long ride he finally showed up at Verona. He had to be very sneaky, because he’s not supposed to be there. When he got to the Capulet vault there were two guards standing there guarding it. So Romeo snuck around the back and snuck up on the guards and killed them. He stabbed the first one in the back and the other one right through the heart. So, after they were dead, he used his huge muscles to move the five big boulders to get into the vault.

After he got into the vault he searched around for Juliet. It smelled horrible, all the dead rotting bodies. The only reason he stayed in there was to find his love Juliet. So after a little while he finally found her. The friar must’ve been pretty good at what he did, because Juliet really looked dead! So he sat there for about three and a half hours waiting for her to wake up. While he was waiting he threw rocks at all the dead bodies.

When Juliet woke up and saw Romeo about a foot or two away from her she was really surprised, of course it was a nice surprise though. So, when he got her out of the tomb, the neighbor was waiting for Romeo by the horse that Romeo stole. The neighbor was enraged at Romeo. As soon as Romeo saw the neighbor he tried to talk to him about the situation. The neighbor, however, did not want to talk about it. So Romeo drew his sword. But as soon as he was about to kill the neighbor, a watchmen cut Romeos head right off his shoulders,

So for the rest of Juliet’s live she was miserable, because she didn’t have her Romeo. She dreamed about him everyday, but knew that she’ll never see him again.
